Bad Education is a TV comedy on BBC Three produced by Pippa Brown shown at 22:00pm on a weekday, the target audience is from 16-20 year old both male and females, i say this because the show is based around these ages as the characters are students, also at these ages you are able to understand the adult humor. Also the show is shown on the watershed, therefor the target audience is most likely staying awake after this time anyway.
Audience Pleasures
Narrative resolution is one pleasure that the audience likes, this is that the show will always start and end in the same settings, eg the school play ground for Bad education; the reason why they enjoy this is because they know roughly what will happen. Also the identity of the characters is a pleasure because the audience will make a connection with that character and understand his/her problems, for Bad Education, Mr wickers is the character that every loves, because of the way he acts and is most likely like the audience them selves. Another thing that entertains the audience is the verbal language and transgression pleasures that the characters use, e.g when they talk about poo and refer to sexual incidents. Aswell as that the familiarity is a pleasure because the audience always knows that something will always go wrong in the episode, for example, Mr Wickers always acts like a child and ends up doing something immature and childish.
In Bad education gives the audience pleasure in many different ways, one of this is the, narrative resolution, this is when every episode starts of the same in the same location and then ends in that same location. E.g the school when looking at this program. Also the verbal communication used can create humor for the audience, for example the different language they use, which could be swear words or new words that teenagers are using, e.g "milf".

Television comedy
TV sitcoms...
Friday Night Dinner series staring; Simon Bird, Tom Rosenthal, Paul Ritter and Tamsin Greig, is a TV comedy on channel 4 shown after the watershed. The show was about two siblings Johnny and Adam, go round to their parents house for a Friday night dinner but something always seems to go wrong. The program is aimed to ages 16 and over as it contains adult humor. The reason that many people watched this, was because the show was unusual and had many crazy situations which no ordinary family could relate to.
Come Fly with me, was on our screens on BBC, from December 2010 to January 2011 for only one series. The Tv Comedy starred double act Matt Lucus and David Walliams playing as many workers at one of Britain's busiest airports. The target audiences for this show was 12+ as younger people may not understand the adult humor; it was also aimed at both genders. What was the reason people watched this show? Well i think people watched it because the actors play various people, but played then in a silly way witch created alot of laughter. Also ever episode had something new and better than the last, on top of that, the episode was 30 minuets long on a Thursday night, this meant it wasn't to long so the scenes wouldn't get to repetitive and all the family could sit down together.
The Inbetweeners series staring; Simon Bird, James Buckley, Joe Thomas and Blake Harrison, playing as the stereotypical teenagers who got up to all sorts of mischief on channel 4 from 2008-2010 at 21:00pm once a week for 3 series. The program was aimed towards mostly males, but also some females at the age of 16 and upwards as it contains adult humor and strong language at times. I feel that many people were amused by this comedy and watched it regularly as it can relate to many viewers and had some brilliant banter throughout, which made the British public laugh alot.
